Book Report: True Food by Annie Bond

The main tip I would like to follow myself and pass on to you:

Eat locally

  • the closer your food sources (not the store but the place the food originates), the better
  • food that travels long distance consumes large amounts of fossil fuels and generates waste and pollution
  • locally grown food usually tastes better and is more nutritious
  • decentralizing food production could decrease food safety risks

I ran out of time and didn’t finish the book. Sorry!
